This gorgeous couple just moved to Tucson last year from Seattle to work at University Physician Hospital in the nursing field.  This is the type of couple that you just want to be friends with as soon as you meet them - totally fun, open and charismatic - made for a really fun shoot.  Most of the images here were taken close to our new studio - we can't get enough of the seemingly endless variety of cool urban backdrops at our disposal down there. We are so glad Megan & Alex found us, and we were able to create this imagery with them...

I can't get over how this wall blurred in the background - just love the rich color and texture here...

So right outside our studio there are various metal and white brick walls, and in the afternoon the sun light reflects off of them in such a way that they become giant soft boxes, producing this gorgeous even lighting while we shoot - so awesome.

Although Shaun and I normally go on all our shoots together, at this particular e-session Shaun was on his own, as I was out of town. I admit I was bummed I wasn't there after checking out the raw proofs, and drooling over the amazing sunset that occurred over A mountain that evening. Could we be so lucky to get a repeat of this killer sunset on their wedding day? Hope so!

So it's no secret that Shaun is a total rockstar when it comes to these sunset silhouette shots...this one could possibly be my favorite one though...pretty sure it is going to earn a spot in our new studio:)

Well, I'm definitely not going to miss out on the wedding shoot - it's going to be hard to top these skies, but I'm sure between the two of us, and this gorgeous couple there's going to be plenty of fantastic photography happening:)

So Shaun and I have super busy trying to keep up with everything photography-wise (and family-wise) with the renovation or our new studio space - which is set to open up in just  a few short weeks. (More info on the grand opening reception coming soon!) As such, my resolution for more blogs has gotten off to a rough start this year! I've come to terms with the fact that my fabulous "reminiscing 2010" wedding and e-session blogs I had intended to post are just not going to happen - it's already March, for goodness sakes. But hey, why live in the past? However, many of our awesome weddings and e-sessions from last year will be featured on our newly updated website which was just launched this week! Shaun and I are excited about the new format of the site, it is however, still under construction, so if you happen upon it now, please be sure to drop by again periodically as new galleries and pics are being added daily:)


These pics are from an Tucson Engagement session we had with Sean & Angela - an adorable Ratheon couple, who are getting married this coming fall. We shot in a variety of locations in and around Benson, AZ - Shooting in Benson was something new for us, which was great, as we always dig trying out new locations with our couples. There were quite a few areas we happened upon right off the highway, which resulted some great shots - and quite a bit of variety...
